Entrepreneur – The 5 Winning Habits

Many studies have been undertaken to see what a successful entrepreneur does that sets them apart from other entrepreneurs. As John Maxwell says "Your success is determined by your daily agenda". Here's the 5 winning habits that make the real difference. 1. Daily Visualization and Meditation of Goals An entrepreneur takes quiet time out at least twice per day or sometimes several times a day to visualize and meditate on their goals. Key Traits Of An Entrepreneur

What Traits Of An Entrepreneur Must You Emulate? I was listening last night to a webinar and the presenter was chatting about the traits of an entrepreneur. Among the initial ones that he came up with was that you just had to be a little crazy. This is one that I will usually agree with. To have the will to be a true entrepreneur, you should be willing to accept a certain level of risk plus do what ever it takes to succeed. You also have to think about the world in a positive way, regardless of how hard things get and sometimes you have to not know when to give up. That is why I believe he feels like you must be a little bit crazy. This is true because many people have a certain tolerance point for pain, after which they're ready to give up. How To Tell If Someone Is An Entrepreneur

One thing defines an entrepreneur - constructive action. Typically, they're the salesman - doing *everything* to get people to buy their stuff. We all have the image in our heads; the "wheeler-dealer", picking any opportunity to try and exploit (and other people) for profit. Indeed, the term "entrepreneur" seems to have drifted around the present lexicon - from "something you did" (typically to improve people's lives) into a blend of "money mad hustler" and "someone who doesn't 'follow the rules'". The reality is the modern meaning could not be further from the truth. Entrepreneurship isn't a vocation or job. It's not a label which you apply to yourself in order to make yourself more endearing to a particular party, or clientele... it's a way of doing things. Many "entrepren...

Are Entrepreneurs More Susceptible To Depression?

Entrepreneurs are often thought of as eternal optimists, always pushing forward in the face of all obstacles and ignoring the concerns of others about the future of their enterprises. But the reality may well be that entrepreneurs are more susceptible to depression, loss of motivation, suicidal thoughts and other related mental health issues than those in the general population. That the life of an entrepreneur is stressful should come as no surprise. From dealing with suppliers, customers and employees to the fiscal concerns of staying in the black, meeting payrolls and even keeping the lights on, entrepreneurs deal with so many more factors than face employees. And while losing one's job can create difficulties for an employee, losing one's business often results in the loss of the en...

Entrepreneurs Believe in Themselves

When you speak to entrepreneurs you can be sure of one thing, these are people who believes in themselves. (Not discounting religion or faith at all.) An entrepreneur does not always know exactly how things will turn out but you can be sure they believe they will be successful at what ever they do. So why are really successful entrepreneurs good at so many things? Because they believe they can do something and then put their mind and energy into doing it.
